The Wood Hotel By Elite - Skelleftea

4-star climate-positive hotel built from locally sourced wood in Skelleftea city center

Architecture & Sustainability

The Wood Hotel By Elite Skelleftea is a climate-positive building constructed entirely from locally sourced wood. Designed by architect Per Öberg, the wooden structure is visible from both inside and outside the hotel. This sustainability certification makes it one of the most eco-conscious hotels in the region.

Dining Options

The hotel offers three diverse dining outlets: an Italian restaurant on the ground floor, a restaurant on the 4th floor serving local cuisine, and Miss Voon on the top floor offering Asian fusion dishes. Breakfast is a buffet featuring locally sourced products, with options for gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian diets. Guests can shallow-fry their own waffles with sweetened berries and whipped cream during breakfast.

Wellness & Spa

The Vana Spa on the 20th floor offers a heated outdoor swimming pool with panoramic views of the city, a steam room, a sauna, and a hammam. Guests can book spa packages including body treatments, facials, and couple massages. Access to the spa is available for a fee, with a spa lounge and relaxation area included.

Rooms & Accommodations

Superior and standard rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows with mountain or garden views. Family rooms are available and include a seating area, though suites are not considered luxury. All rooms are air-conditioned and have private bathrooms with showers.
